Choir Audition Requirements

The Choir Pathway is looking for students with passion for singing. 

Students will demonstrate their musical skills by performing a solo and telling us about their passion.

To apply to the CPMA Choir Pathway:

Please complete an audition video. Your video should be recent (within one month of submission) and must include the following components. Your video should not exceed 5 minutes in length.

Video Introduction

1. ​In your video, please introduce yourself.  Include:

• Your first and last name

• The grade you will be entering in the Fall

• Why are you interested in attending CPMA? 

     

   2. Answer the following questions:

• Have you been in a school choir before?

• Do you take voice lessons outside of school?

• What made you want to join choir?

   3. Perform a song!

• Remember to introduce the musical selection you will be performing.

Students will be evaluated individually.  Areas of assessment will include:

Craftsmanship

Personal Expression

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION

Please upload your Choir video to a Google Drive or DropBox Folder.  Ensure the settings on your folder are set so that "Anyone with the Link" can view the contents.
