CPMA In-Person Assessment Requirements

CPMA is looking for middle school students with a passion for exploring and creating ART! 

We want students who want to use their creativity to tell their stories and share their ideas.

To apply to the CPMA In-Person:

Schedule your Admission Evaluation. 

Come a little early on the day of your evaluation to check-in.

In your evaluation, you will have the opportunity to discuss each of the art pathways CPMA has to offer.

You will have an opportunity to speak with Assessment Specialists and talk about your love for your art, and what you would like to explore.

Be prepared to:​

​1. Introduce yourself.  Include:

• Your first and last name

• The grade you will be entering in the Fall

 2. You may be asked some of the following questions:

• Why are you interested in attending CPMA?

• What art pathways do you want to explore at CPMA?

• What do you love about the arts?

 3. Share with us! (Optional)

If you have artwork, writing, a song to play or sing, or other items you have brought that you would like to share, we would love to see it!​​

Students will be evaluated individually.  Areas of assessment will include:

• Craftsmanship

• Personal Expression
