Music Evaluation Requirements
The Music Department is looking for middle school students with passion for Music. Students will demonstrate their musical skills by performing a solo Instrumental Music or Choir and tell us about their passion.
To apply to the CPMA Music program:
Please complete an evaluation video. Your video should be recent (within one month of submission) and must include the following components. Your video should not exceed 10 minutes in length.
Video Introduction

In your video, please introduce yourself. Include:

Your first and last name

The grade you will be entering in the Fall

What instrument(s) you play
(if you are auditioning for Vocal Arts, you can mention this instead of what instrument you will be playing.)
2. Answer the following questions:

What do you enjoy about playing (or singing) music?

Why do you want to come to CPMA?
3. Play a musical selection on your instrument, or sing a song!

Remember to introduce the musical selection you will be performing.

Students will be evaluated individually. Areas of assessment will include:
Craftsmanship
Personal Expression
BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR EVALUATION
Please upload your Music videos to a Google Drive or DropBox Folder. Ensure the settings on your portfolio folder are set so that Anyone with the Link can view the contents.
