Visual & Media Art Evaluation Requirements

The Visual and Media Arts Department is looking for middle school students interested in Creating Art!  Students who have a passion for drawing,  painting, sculpture, digital art, video, or photography should apply for this art pathway.

To apply to the CPMA Visual & Media Art Department:

Submit an Introduction (can be on video or in writing) and 4 -5 pieces of artwork you have done that best show us your passion for art!  Your introduction must include the following components:

​     1. Please introduce yourself.  Include:

1.       Your first and last name

2.       The grade you will be entering in the Fall

3.       Why are you interested in attending CPMA?

     2. Answer the following questions:

1.       Why do you want to explore the  Visual & Media Arts pathway ?

2.       What do you love about creating Art?

     3. Show us some samples of your artwork!

Submit 4-5 of your best works that you think will help us see the artist you really are.

  Students will be evaluated individually.  Areas of assessment will include:

​

•  Craftsmanship

•  Personal Expression

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR EVALUATION

Please upload your Art portfolio pieces to a Google Drive or DropBox Folder.  Ensure the settings on your portfolio folder are set so that Anyone with the Link can view the contents.
