Orchestra Audition Requirements
The Orchestra Pathway is looking for students with passion for playing Instrumental Music in an orchestra. Students will demonstrate their musical skills by performing a solo and telling us about their passion.
To apply to the CPMA Orchestra Pathway:
Please complete an audition video. Your video should be recent (within one month of submission) and must include the following components. Your video should not exceed 10 minutes in length.
Video Introduction

In your video, please introduce yourself. Include:

Your first and last name

The grade you will be entering in the Fall

What instrument(s) you play
2. Answer the following questions:

Have you played violin, viola, cello, or upright bass before? If so, for how long?

Would you be willing to practice your instrument 30 minutes a week?

What made you want to join an orchestra?
3. Play a musical selection on your instrument!

Remember to introduce the musical selection you will be performing.

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION
Please upload your Orchestra videos to a Google Drive or DropBox Folder. Ensure the settings on your folder are set so that "Anyone with the Link" can view the contents.
