Visual Art & Design Audition Requirements

The Visual Art & Design Pathway is looking for students interested in creating art!  Students who have a passion for drawing,  painting, sculpture and digital art should apply for this pathway.

To apply to the CPMA Visual Art & Design pathway:

Submit 4 -5 pieces of artwork you have done that best show us your passion for art!  Include an introduction with the following components:

Introduction (Can be on video or in writing)

​     1. Please introduce yourself.  Include:

• Your first and last name

• The grade you will be entering in the Fall

• Why are you interested in attending CPMA?

     2. Answer the following questions:

• ​What is your favorite art medium? (Examples include paint, watercolor, pastels, pencils, markers, sculpture, mixed media, digital, etc.)

• Why do you love art?

• What is your favorite thing you have ever created in art?  Describe it.

     3. Show us some samples of your artwork!

Submit 4-5 of your best works that you think will help us see the artist you really are.

  Students will be evaluated individually.  Areas of assessment will include:

•  Craftsmanship

•  Personal Expression

BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR AUDITION

Please upload your Art pieces to a Google Drive or DropBox Folder.  Ensure the settings on your folder are set so that "Anyone with the Link" can view the contents.
